Gold Core is a premium small-group strength training and youth sports performance gym located at 3916 Sepulveda Blvd in Torrance, CA. Founded by Sam Gold with 12+ years of coaching experience, every session is coach-led with a maximum of 6 people — giving you the personalization of private training inside a motivating team environment.
Gold Core offers four programs: Adult Small-Group Strength Training for adults of any fitness level, Youth Fitness & Sports Performance for athletes ages 12+, Golf Performance Training for golfers of all handicaps, and Elite Athletes programming for competitive sports.
All Gold Core groups are capped at 6 people maximum. This isn't a policy — it's the entire model. Small groups mean every rep gets coached, every client gets corrected, and no one gets lost in the crowd. It's the quality of private training at the value of a group class.
Gold Core serves two main populations: adults (any fitness level) looking for real strength, conditioning, and mobility results without wasting time in a big-box gym; and youth athletes ages 12+ who want to improve their speed, power, and athletic performance. Golfers of all handicap levels also train here year-round.
Gold Core is at 3916 Sepulveda Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505 in the heart of the South Bay. We serve clients from Torrance, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Rolling Hills, and Lomita.
Our coaches hold some of the most advanced certifications in the industry. Founder Sam Gold holds CFSC LVL 2, TPI LVL 1 & 2, NCCPT, JrFit™, Redcord™ Advanced II, and Redcord™ Corrective. Nathan Richtiger holds ACE CPT, EXOS Speed & Agility, and PN Level 1. Matthew Takahashi holds NASM CPT, CFSC, and a BS in Kinesiology from CSU Fullerton.

Yes. Our Golf Performance program is designed by TPI Level 1 & 2 certified coaches and focuses on rotational power, core stability, hip mobility, and injury prevention. Golfers of all handicap levels train here, and most see measurable distance and consistency gains within 2–3 weeks.
At a regular gym you're on your own. At Gold Core, every session is 100% coach-led — your form is corrected, your progress is tracked, and your program evolves with you. With a 6-person max, no session ever feels crowded or impersonal. You get the accountability and expertise of a personal trainer with the energy of a team.
