As the founder of Gold Core, Sam Gold has built a reputation as one of the top strength and conditioning experts in the South Bay. With over 12 years of experience, he has developed impressive skills to help clients achieve their fitness goals. Sam earned his degree from the University of Arizona in Physiology & Anatomy with a minor in Sports Management. He is a Certified Functional Strength Coach and Titleist Performance Institute Certified Coach (TPI), demonstrating his commitment to continued learning. Sam works with clients of all ages — from professional athletes to weekend warriors. Outside Gold Core, Sam is an avid golfer with a passion for helping golfers improve through strength and conditioning. He also enjoys hiking with his wife Terry and dog Mango, snowboarding, and playing hockey.
Nathan graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Public Health. While attending the University, he worked as an Athletic Training Tech for the Arizona Wildcats Football Team. Nathan is certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as a Personal Trainer. Based on his work with the Arizona Football team, his own injury experiences, and his education, Nathan has built a strong understanding of how the body works. Since age 17, Nathan has trained with Gold Core founder Sam Gold, learning a variety of techniques and continuing his education in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Nathan is proud to be part of the Gold Core team.
Matthew is a dedicated strength coach at Gold Core, bringing expertise honed through his Kinesiology program at CSU Fullerton, specializing in pre-physical therapy and sports performance. With a deep understanding of human movement, Matthew brings energy, precision, and care to every session. He is passionate about helping clients move better, get stronger, and reach their goals.
